Found Objects

Found Objects is a research project and publication exploring the relationship between individuals and inanimate objects, showcasing that seemingly typical items are more meaningful than they appear. The target audience for the summit consisted of mid-career to senior academics, policy-makers, and entrepreneurs with a focus on equitable business practices. The client requested that the brand identity have a bold look to represent the  radical ideals and changes that post growth economics intends to create, while also maintaining a professional appearance.

With the brief in mind, I opted to merge both serif and sans serif type, highlighting the summit's dedication to changing the standard quo. To reflect its feminist themes, both typefaces were created by women designers. Violet was chosen as the primary colour, paying homage to first and second-wave feminist demonstrations.
